These platforms are simple and user friendly so anyone can be a designer! Some ideas for these type of graphics include “This or That”, “Bingo”, or “My Top 3”. For example, if you are creating a “This or That” graphic, encourage users to fill it out, post it on their story, tag your company, and tag three friends to complete this activity as well. These graphics give users the ability to interact with your content, repost to their stories, and start a conversation about your brand.

                       

2.   Add A Personal Touch with Video

This hack can be very useful for interacting with your current followers. Videos are helpful for showing the human touch or personality behind your business or brand. Through taking users on a “Day in the Life” series or hosting a “Q&A Session” by answering questions and posting response videos to your story, users feel more personally connected to your business. Relationships are important, and this is the future. Through developing this authentic and personal relationship with your followers, they will be more likely to continue to engage with your business and share it with others.


3.   Create Highlights

Let’s say you post a great story and don't want all of your hard work to disappear in 24 hours. Good news, it no longer has to! With the highlight feature on Instagram, you are able to save all of your pictures, graphics, videos, and boomerang to an Instagram highlight. These stories can be categorized into different highlight buttons such as products, services, events or any other areas you may want to highlight on your profile. This is a quick and easy way to keep all of your content both organized and active for your followers to access. Make these highlights appealing and helpful to your business. You can even use fun pictures or icons to make all of your highlight buttons look cohesive and on brand. This feature allows your users to revisit content and further engage with your business without a 24-hour time limit. Within each highlight button, you can continue to keep track of the number of impressions and reach your story is receiving.
